May: To Be Read

This is an extremely exciting post! As I can now put in some of the books I have been waiting over a year for... Today I am going to tell you about all the books I hope to read in the month of May. EXCITEMENT.
City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare
WHAT. It comes out this month! It is so weird, I have been waiting for this, the 6th and final book in The Mortal Instruments series for what feels like forever. Words cannot fathom how excited yet terrified I am to read this, please do not let any of my favourite characters die Cassie... Just, please.
COHF comes out on May 27th and I just can't wait... I have theories but to be honest, I have no idea what is going to go down in this book... All I know is that Cassandra Clare is one of my favourite authors and that she will not less us down!
Why does this series ever have to end? Don't let Jace come to any harm, Cassie, just do this for me...

The One by Kiera Cass
WHAT. This one, I have been waiting for since The Elite, the second book in the trilogy came out... And now it is here, the final book. I do not want this series to end. Another of my favourite series, why are all my favourite series ending?!
If you have yet to pick up the first book, The Selection... DO IT! I adore this trilogy with all my heart, the attachment to the characters is unreal.
The One comes out May 6th... I cannot describe the anticipation.
If you have read this trilogy, comment down below and tell me what you thought about it, it really is ONE of my favourites.
Kiera is another author I know won't let us down...
A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin
The second book in A Song of Ice and Fire series, following A Game of Thrones.
This was on my last to be read, but this month I really am going to tackle it! I loved the first one, but am finding it difficult to get past the prologue... However after this post I am definitely going to attack that prologue and am going to read as much of the book as possible! It is such an amazing series which I honestly don't know what to expect from. I thought the first book was incredible, so I will probably (hopefully) finish it by the end of May!
I'm looking over at it right now, man, it sure is huge....

Half Bad by Sally Green

This is one of those books that I keep talking about but have not yet gotten around to reading! I read 50 pages of it, but it didn't grip me as much as I wanted it to at the time. But I have heard lots of people say that it is all a bit confusing at this point anyway.
So, I will read it in May! I have wanted to read it since January, so I don't know why I am hesitating about it so much!
Ofcourse, I will let you know what I think once I have finished it, the concept is so interesting but so far it hasn't hooked me!
If you are interested it this book then you should definitely check it out, many different people would enjoy it!
Those are the only books that I know I will read this month, otherwise, I am just going to read whatever I feel like reading! If I put pressure on myself to read certain books, then I may not feel like reading them. But these ones I know that I will get around to! I hope you enjoyed this post, I will have a new post up as soon as possible, thankyou for reading,

Review: Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins

Book- Rebel Belle
Author- Rachel Hawkins
Genre- Fantasy, romance
My rating- 5 stars

I am sure alot of you have heard of this book as it is an extremely new release and is getting alot of hype! Just going to put this out there- it is worth the hype.
I found Rebel Belle engaging, exciting, funny and just really awesome! When I first saw the cover I was not completely eager to read it, as it looked extremely girly! But that has taught me not to judge a book by its cover, ofcourse there are girly aspects to the book, however the action is fantastic.
You may have read or heard of Rachel Hawkins' Hex Hall series, which personally I have not yet read but definitely will after loving this one!
A little about Rebel Belle-
Southern belle Harper Price thinks that everything is perfect, she is soon going to be the homecoming queen, she has a great boyfriend and her biggest worry is the shade of her lip gloss. And that is what started it all off, being at homecoming having forgotten to apply lip gloss. Quickly heading to the bathroom the fix this, she has no idea what is waiting for her there.
Because everything started to go wrong that night and she finds herself with crazy abilities. She is now a paladin, a protector. And the person she has to protect, just happens to be the person she hates most. David Stark.
I absolutely loved this book, there was never a dull moment, the characters were all amazing, the plot was well built... I cannot wait for the next book in this series to come out.
If you are wondering whether to read this, I would definitely recommend you check it out, you won't regret it. The way the story flows is brilliant, along with a great voice. Harper tells the story in an extremely engaging way, I loved the use of language and how it feels like Harper is telling YOU the story.
I am going to start talking spoilers, so if you haven't read Rebel Belle yet, I would recommend you stop reading here!
So, if you haven't already gathered, I really liked this book, it was so action packed and ENGAGING- I feel like that is the word that describes this book really well. I love David Stark. He genuinely is such an awesome character and you can tell he really likes Harper. However, I am scared for his future now that he has these super-crazy-oracle powers, it feels like it is going to end badly for himself and Harper.
One thing that I seriously did not see coming, was Blythe taking Bee! I absolutely adored Bee's character and how she was such a good friend to Harper. Another thing, was THE PUNCH. I don't understand why I didn't realise that was going to happen. I would absolutely hate to be in Harper's position at that point- having to defend yourself against your own Aunt...  The punch was really clever, but I found it hard to believe that all those people would have drank the punch... I don't know why but I find that unconvincing.
The lotion. You may or may not know what I'm talking about, but when Harper is trying to test out her abilities she chucks a pen at a girl... The teacher catches her and Harper explains that she was just writing so fast and she had lotion on her hands, so the pen flew out of her hand! Welldone Harper, for possibly THE worst excuse anyone on this planet has ever come up with! I was laughing so much. I am going to use this perfect gif of Tom Hiddleston to explain... I love you Tom Hiddleston.
Now, can we talk about Saylor? I was more sad than I care to admit when she died, I felt so sorry for David, apart from Harper she was all he had. I was so disappointed that Ryan was the new Mage, his character just wasn't the most interesting for me, I honestly would have loved Bee to be (haha, Bee to be) the new Mage... But maybe I will prefer Ryan as Mage in future books. It was funny how awkward it was between David, Harper and Ryan though.
That will be the end of this post. The next book is definitely one of my most anticipated books from now, I hope it is as awesome as Rebel Belle. Let me know what you thought of this book down in the comments as I am really interested in what others are making of it! Thankyou for reading,
-Darcy

April Wrap Up

So, I may be slightly early to do a wrap up, but I don't think I am going to get any more books read this month as I am quite busy right now!
The month of April was a VERY good reading month for me... I read 2 novellas, 3 mangas and 9 books! The reason for this was because I went on holiday so I had much more time to read... I hope you like this wrap up!
Firstly I am going to talk about the mangas I read, as I don't want to go too into those as this is technically a book blog! I love manga, this month I read the first three volumes in Attack on Titan and absolutely loved them. I thought they were worth mentioning because they were just fantastic! If you are into manga then I definitely recommend you pick them up. Tell me if you have already read them in the comments!
Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
This book is the second in the Lunar Chronicles after Cinder. It was fantastic, action packed and pure awesome. This series is amazing and I cannot wait to get my hands on Cress.
I had been wanting to read this since I finished Cinder in February, but I was on a sort-of-book-buying-ban... Now I am so happy that I have read it. But I am now on another sort-of-book-buying-ban... So I can't buy Cress at the moment!
I think this series is a perfect mix of sci-fi, adventure and romance with many other different elements mixed in.
My rating- 5 stars

The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han
This book is the first book in a trilogy, if you are interested definitely check out my review of the trilogy!
I absolutely adored this book (as well as the whole trilogy) it was amazing. Looking for a perfect summer read? This is it. Everything about this trilogy was perfect for the mood I was in. It was addictive, the character development was great and the plot definitely did not lack.
If you have read this then tell me in the comments what you thought of it! I know that it is a very popular contemporary romance and I can definitely see why!
My rating- 5 stars
It's Not Summer Without You by Jenny Han
This book is the second in the Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy. After adoring the first book I HAD to get my hands on the second as soon as possible. It was just as good as the first if not better in my opinion. I just grew so attached to the characters and laughed out loud so much.
Looking back on different events in this trilogy just makes me feel so happy... I  cannot wait to read some more of Jenny Han's books, all of them look absolutely fantastic.
I can see that it may not be everyone's cup of tea... But definitely check it out anyway!
My rating- 5 stars

We'll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han
The perfect ending to such a great trilogy, the final book in the Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy (if you hadn't already guessed)
I found the ending of this absolutely fantastic... The start of it was slightly irritating, but the rest of it just makes up for that 10 times over.
I know I have already recommended it... But seriously... I RECOMMEND IT. It will definitely get you in that summer mood, even if where you are it is not sunny! I have genuinely fallen in love with the whole trilogy...
I hope some of you will take my recommendation and fall in love with it to!
My rating- 5 stars

Red by Alison Cherry
I read about half of this book  a month ago, then read the other half this month. The reason I took a break from it was that I wasn't very gripped to the story and there were other books that I wanted to read!
I enjoyed this book, but not as much as I wanted to. It was good, but maybe not my thing. I liked that it was easy to read, though.
It is about a girl called Felicity who lives in a town called Scarlet-Ville, a town for red heads, if you haven't got red hair then you are not accepted. Felicity has everything, popular boyfriend,  great friends and bright red hair. But she has a secret, she is not a natural red head...
My rating- 5 stars

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
A very well known and popular book, so I'm sure you have heard of it. Like Red, I read half of this a while back then finished it this month! I took a break because once I had put it down I didn't pick it back up for a while.
It has been really hyped up to me, so I went in expecting alot... But honestly, I didn't think it was that great. This is just my opinion, it wasn't my favourite. However, I am going to carry on with the series as I heard it gets better as it goes along!
Vampire Academy was alright, I just didn't think it was that special, not much happened in it. But I will definitely read the next book!
My rating- 5 stars

Paper Towns by John Green
Finally I have read it! I love John Green so much, his youtube and his books! The Fault In Our Stars is one of my favourite books, if you haven't read it yet then I really don't know why...
Paper Towns was excellent, well written (ofcourse, it is John Green) and a perfect story line. I know that most of you reading this will have already read it so I don't know if I need to recommend it... But I am going to anyway. READ IT. It was just so original and unique, different to many other books, this also applies to the characters, original and unique! Especially Margo, her character was very different.
My rating- 5 stars

Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
This series is one of my all time favourites, so this was a re-read for me.
Even reading it for the second time makes me fall in love with it, the addictive writing style and epic plot combined just make it such a brilliant read.
I can understand that not everyone would love this book/ series, but I do... I love it so much. Re-reading it makes me super excited for the fifth and final book Opposition to come out!
And can we just talk about Daemon Black?
My rating- 5 stars (obviously!)

Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins
When this book came in the post I did a huge happy dance! If you watch booktube, then you may know that some booktubers are doing a massive read-along for it. I was definitely persuaded to but it after hearing amazing things!
Rebel. Belle. Was. Pure. Awesome.
The romance in this book was so cute, the action was epic.
I don't know how to describe to you how great this was. All I know is that there will definitely be a review for it up soon!
Please check this one out! This is such a promising new series, read it!
My rating- 5 stars

Those are all the books I read, but I also read 2 novellas, which were The Guard by Kiera Cass. This is a novella for The Selection (one of my favourite series!), the third and final book, The One, comes out in may. So excited. My rating- 4 stars
The other novella was Shadows by Jennifer L.Armentrout. This is a novella for Obsidian (the Lux series) and it was excellent. My rating- 4 stars
That is the end of my wrap up, it was quite a long one! I hope you enjoyed this post, I will have another up soon,

Series review: The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han

Hello! Today I have a series review for you, which I have never done before, so I hope you enjoy it!
Series- The Summer I turned Pretty
Author- Jenny Han
Genre- Young adult, contemporary, romance
My rating- 5 stars

If you did not know, The Summer I turned Pretty is the first book in a trilogy, followed by It's Not Summer Without You and We'll Always Have Summer. I couldn't not review this trilogy, after falling in love with it last week. I zipped through all three books extremely quickly and by the end I was left wanting more! Now I can honestly say that this is one of my favourite contemporary romances that I have ever read.
I am going to tell you a little about the first one-
Every summer Belly (Isabel) goes to the summer house, with her Mother and Steven, with Susannah and her boys. Conrad and Jeremiah. She has been going to Cousins for as long as she can remember, but this year things are different. This is the summer she turns pretty.
I love, love, loved this trilogy with all my heart. If you are looking for a romance to dive into at the moment and have not yet read this, do it!
Looking over this trilogy, so much happens and with each book you get more attached to the characters. You will find yourself sad when Belly is sad, happy when she is happy and everything inbetween.
The character development- 5 stars. The plot- 5 stars. The TRILOGY- 5 stars.
Ofcourse with any book you will have problems, I know I had a few with this trilogy, but I can't really go into that without spoiling... So more on that later! Please read this amazing trilogy if it sounds like your thing, I recommend it highly (if you could not guess).
I am now left wanting to read all of Jenny Han's work... Especially her newest book, To All the Boys I've Loved Before, which annoyingly is not out in the UK for ages!
I am now going to go into some spoilers, so if you have not yet read this book yet, I recommend you stop reading, go read this trilogy, then come back! These spoilers are going to be for the whole trilogy, so if you have only read the first one then I will spoil you!

So, I will mainly be talking about the final book because that is obviously where it all finished...
My first thoughts... The ending.
Right, so I definitely shipped Belly with Conrad, the whole way through this trilogy. So the end was a definite good one for me, definitely let me know in the comments who you wanted her to end up with! I for one, am extremely happy with the ending. Han did it perfectly, without writing a huge epilogue. It was perfect. The whole meaning of the infinity symbol was used and I loved that! I adored how we got to read Susannah's letter to Belly on her wedding day, it was extremely sad.
I mentioned earlier that I did have a few problems. That was with the first chunk of this book. I didn't enjoy reading about Belly's engagement to Jeremiah as I thought it was a really stupid mistake. Ofcourse, this just built on Belly's character, but I was just screaming at the book, 'he cheated on you! Don't marry him!!' It made me mad... But that doesn't mean I hated it.
I'm not sure about you, but personally I loved reading from Conrad's perspective through this book, it shed a different light on the story. Also, reading from Jeremiah's perspective in It's Not Summer Without You had the same effect.
I am also going to say how heart breaking the start of It's Not Summer Without You is, Susannah being dead, Belly not being a Cousins, her heart break. It just made me so sad. When her and Jeremiah were searching for Conrad, I was hoping so much that he would be at the summer house... I honestly missed it as much as Belly did!
And now for... Conrad.
Oh, Conrad... You truly are amazing. I know in the second book at times he came across as a bit of a jerk... But he redeemed himself 10 times over. In the final book, he was just so sweet... Him confessing his love for Belly was one of my favourite parts of the book. Also, when he found out that Jeremiah had cheated on Belly... Oh, Conrad...

So, that will be the end of my discussion/ review, if you have anything to say, definitely let me know in the comments! I am super excited to read another of Jenny Han's books, this trilogy was amazing.
Thankyou for reading,
-Darcy

What I am reading this weekend!

So, this is just a quick post to update you on what I am reading over this weekend! I hope you enjoy this and let me know in the comments what you will be reading as I would love to know!

Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins
I am currently about three quarters of the way through this and am absolutely loving it! I will have a review up for this one for sure, (so look out for that.) You may have seen it around recently as it is a new release and is receiving lots of hype!
It seriously is awesome, definitely one of the best books I have read this year (which is saying something!) I am super excited to carry on reading it after I have finished writing this post. If you are hesitant about picking this one up, then definitely do! It is completely action packed, light hearted and all around hilarious.
I would recommend this one to most people! Certainly check it out.

A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin
After finishing Rebel Belle I hope to pick this one up! It. Is. Huge.
I finished A Game of Thrones last month and have not yet gotten around to reading A Clash of Kings, I am excited but also intimidated by its size!
This one will probably take me a few weeks whilst reading a few other books inbetween. Hopefully I will have it finished before the end of next month (although there are many amazing books coming out in May which I cannot wait for!)
If you have read this one, let me know in the comments if it is as good as the first! I have heard it is even better, so that is getting me pumped to pick it up.

I hope you enjoyed this extremely short post... But I have been really busy over the last couple of weeks so it has been difficult finding the time to post! Thankyou for reading,
-Darcy

Top 5 Authors I Want To Read

So, today I would like to share with you the authors I have not yet read books by, but want to! Some of these authors I am ashamed not to have read any books by. But hopefully by the end of the year I will have read books by all these wonderful writers!

-Sarah Dessen
Sarah Dessen is an extremely well known YA writer, she wrote books such as Just Listen and Along For The Ride. From what I know, her main genre is contemporary romance and she is one of the best writers for this.
I have always wanted to read one of her books, but have not yet gotten round to it. Hopefully I will have read one of her books by the end of 2014, they are completely what I love to read. I honestly don't know why I haven't already picked up one of her novels. Considering how much I love contemporary, I am ashamed to say that I haven't read any of her books... But soon I shall! I promise a review for when that time finally comes... Can I just say how much I love the cover for Along For the Ride?

-Victoria Schwab
I. Must. Read. Victoria. Schwab's. Books.
I have genuinely wanted to read The Archived for SO long now and I have no excuse as to why I have not yet picked it up. Victoria Schwab also wrote Vicious (as V.E. Schwab) which I also need to read! This author is one that I have come across so many times that I have lost count, I have to get around to her books soon, they are so intriguing. Check out these books because I have not heard a bad thing about them, they sound extremely unique. Also, I absolutely adore the cover of The Archived, it genuinely is beautiful.

-Ransom Riggs
You have most probably heard of Ransom Riggs and his book Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children. This is another one of those books that I have heard SO much about. It sounds so different to anything I have ever read and intrigues me to the maximum. Miss Peregrine's has vintage photos through out the book, giving it a creepy feel...
Everything about this book, from the cover to the description makes me want to read it!
I cannot wait to read Ransom Riggs' books, they are completely unique to any books I have heard of. If you are as curious about this book as I am, definitely check this one out.

-Jennifer E. Smith
I would like to start by saying how gorgeous these covers are... They are way too cute for me to handle.
Jennifer E. Smith's books are ones that I have had my eye on for a while now. She writes The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight and This Is What Happy Looks Like, among other books. She has The Geography of You and Me coming out April 15th which I am definitely going to read in the near future.
I have heard lots of good things about her books on Goodreads, soon I will get round to picking up these books, they look absolutely perfect to read with a cup of tea!

-Jenny Han
This is an author that I simply HAVE to read, she writes the Burn for Burn trilogy, The Summer I Turned Pretty (also a trilogy) and her latest book which comes out April 15th is To All The Boys I've Loved Before.
To All The Boys I've Loved Before is a book that I cannot wait to come out, I want this book so badly! The plot sounds so interesting and I definitely recommend checking it out.
I cannot believe I haven't read ANY of Jenny Han's books yet, I know I am going to really soon though. They are definitely my kind of book and I am pretty sure I am going to love them as much as other people have.
I think I have said how much I love the covers of all the books on todays post... But seriously, I love these ones too.

So that is the end of my 'Top 5 Authors I Want To Read' post, I hope you enjoyed it. Tell me in the comments below if you have read any of these books and if you enjoyed them! I would love to know. Thankyou for reading,
-Darcy

Top 5 Contemporary Romance Books

So, today I am going to be talking about my top 5 contemporary romance reads! Contemporary and romance are genres that I cannot get enough of, and I would love to share my top 5 favourites with you all.
I have decided that I will not do these in any particular order, as I genuinely cannot decide in what order I would put these books in!

Dash and Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan
In my opinion, a book that is easy to read which you don't need to think too much about is much needed once in a while, this book is perfect. It is light-hearted, cute, sweet, ALL OF THOSE WORDS. The story takes place at Christmas, so you can read it at Christmas to get in the holiday mood, or you can read it at any time to get you in the holiday mood!
Dash does not like the holidays, they are a nuisance to him.
Lily loves the holidays, terrible Christmas jumpers and all.
At Christmas time Dash goes to his favourite book store, browsing the shelves when he comes across a journal. Lily's journal. And that is when it starts, the dares.
Dash and Lily send each other on missions around New York city, slowly falling for eachother in their book of dares.
I only read this last month and I already want to read it again! The characters and plot are completely unique and I think everyone should read it!

The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
So, I don't know where you have been if you have not heard of this book, but I can honestly say that it is one of my all-time favourite books. It makes me happy-sad.
If you have not read it, DO IT. I know that some people are hesitant to read it as it is a cancer book. But I have to say that it is incredible, even if it doesn't sound like your thing... Please, just give it a go!  It isone of those books that I feel affects you in so many ways, IT GIVES YOU THE FEELS. The Fault in our Stars is a book that will stick with you for a long time. Ofcourse this top 5 is contemporary romance, and oh man is the romance good...

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
I have talked about this book quite a bit on my blog, that is because I seriously love it. It genuinely is one of the cutest books I have ever read.
If you are interested in it, definitely go and check out my review.
You will know if you have read Anna and the French Kiss, how utterly amazing it is... Also, how gripping it is. I flew through this book extremely quickly, finding it difficult to put down.
As well as that, I have a genuine obsession with St Clair (I just cannot describe-)
This book is the first in a 'trilogy', eventhough the books are about different characters, they all intertwine. I love this, as we get to hear more about Anna in the next book which I definitely needed after reading this book.
I literally can't talk about this book without gushing about how cute it is- but seriously... It is just SO cute.
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
So, I'm sure you have heard of this book, but if you have not... You need to! It truly is awesome.
The whole time I was reading the book I was giggling and 'awwing', if you have read it you will know what I mean!
This book is brilliant because it just feels so real- and relate-able!
This book is about Cath, who is a fangirl (yes, like the title) and it is about her experience moving on in her life and going to college.
That was a very brief description, but if you have not yet read Fangirl, then definitely do! When I picked this book up, I thought maybe it had been over hyped for me, but not at all. It was still absolutely excellent in my opinion. I honestly do not know why everyone hasn't read this book yet!
It is amazing.
Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
So, I told myself I could only put one of Stephanie Perkins books on this list, and I was going to. But I just couldn't.
Lola and the Boy Next Door is one of my favourite romances along with Anna and the French Kiss and it would be wrong not to put it on this list.
Lola and the Boy Next Door is the book after Anna and the French Kiss, as I said earlier, these books intertwine with characters...
I am honestly in love with these books, they are just so addictive. I know for a fact that when the final book, Isla and the Happily Ever After comes out, I will not stop reading until I finish it.
If you have yet to pick up Anna or Lola, do it, you will not regret it at all! I can honestly call these books some of my favourite EVER. Aw. Cricket.

So, those are my top 5 contemporary romance books. Ofcourse I recommend all of these books to you if you have yet to pick them up. They are all quite well known so I am sure you have come across them before in the YA genre. I will have another post up soon, thankyou for reading,

April: To Be read

Yesterday I posted my March wrap up, so if you have not yet seen that you can go and check it out! This post is going to be the books that I hope to read in April, I hope you enjoy it.

Half Bad by Sally Green
You may have already seen this book on my last to be read, however as I did not read it in March, I am definitely going to get to it this month!
I actually own this book now, so that will give me some motivation to get reading it. By the sound of this book, it is going to be a great read, so I cannot wait to get to it. I have only just realised that what I thought was just random blood on this book, actually makes a face! That took me a while to see... Oops
If I enjoy this book then I am definitely going to review it for you all. I have heard some amazing things about it, so it will be interesting to see what that is about!
Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
Yes, another book which was also on my previous To Be Read...
I have really wanted to read this all last month, but I have had so many other books to read, that I couldn't justify buying it straight away. But now I have it and am halfway through it! So that is great and I am absolutely loving it so far. If you have not heard of this book then I don't know where you have been, but this series truly is amazing and you NEED to check it out.
It includes most of my favourite genres! It is a sci-fi fairy tale retelling and I  truly cannot get enough of this series!
RECOMMENDED

A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin
So, I finished A Game of Thrones last month and thought it was amazing, so I am definitely going to try and tackle A Clash of Kings this month. And I will tell you, it is a HUGE book, which slightly threatens me. But I know when I get into it I am going to love it as much as I did the first one.
Like I said in yesterdays post, if you are hesitant about this series for its size or the way it is written... Don't be, because it truly is incredible and not as difficult as you may think.
I am really excited to start reading this monumental book and I know when I finish it I am going to be extremely proud!

Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins
THIS BOOK SOUNDS TOTALLY AWESOME
If I get the chance to read this book, I will be so happy. You may have heard of the author, Rachel Hawkins, who wrote the Hex Hall series. Anyway, I am debating whether or not to purchase this book as I do not know if I will get round to it. But I know I will read it in the near future and am cannot wait until I do!
This book literally came out today, which makes it even more great, as that means reading it will be completely new, with no spoilers!
May I just say how cool this cover is?

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
Why have I not read this book yet? The answer to that... I have no idea. After reading Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, I have fallen in love with her work, it is genuinely one of the most relateable books I have ever read.
So, I really need to read Eleanor & Park, it looks amazing.
I have been told that it is a really sad story, but I have no idea why, but I really want a sad book right now... That is kind of weird, however that's just what I want at the moment!
If you have read this book, comment down below and tell me what you thought of it, as I am very curious as to what others think!

So, those are the books I hope to read in April. I will probably end up reading completely different books, but hopefully I will read these. You never know!
I will have a new post up extremely soon, thankyou for reading this one,

March: What I read

Hello everyone! It has been quite a long time since I last posted, so I am really sorry but I have been so busy! But I now have 1 week off and am going to use that time to post as much as possible! I hope you enjoy this post.
So, this post is going to be the books that I read in March, I feel like I read quite a few books and am quite pleased considering I have been quite busy this month. I hope you enjoy reading this post!

Pushing the Limits by Katie Mcgarry
So, I got this book for a really good deal which I couldn't resist, as I had heard some really good things about it.
I ended up really enjoying Pushing the Limits! All the books in this series are meant to be very 'real', what I mean by that is they tackle some very serious issues. This book was a great read which I recommend if you are a fan of contemporary romance.
One thing is, that I am not rushing to get the next book. I'm not sure why, I just don't really feel in the mood for it...
My rating: 4 stars
Panic by Lauren Oliver
I won Lauren Oliver's latest book in a Goodreads giveaway which was really exciting! I found it to be extremely good, I know it has had some mixed reviews, however I loved it. Personally, I have not read anything like it before and thought it was unique in that way. As well as this, I found it quite unpredictable, I didn't know what was going to happen which I loved.
If you are interested in this book then you can check out my previous post which was a review for it! If you have read any of Lauren Oliver's other books and can't decide whether to pick Panic up, I recommend you do!
My rating: 5 stars

Revenge Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger
So you may know of the first book, The Devil Wears Prada, which is a very well known book (as well as film). Revenge Wears Prada is the sequel to this.
I really cannot believe I have not picked up this book until now! The Devil Wears Prada is a book I love so it is odd that it took me so long to get around to this book. I think my main reason was that I was satisfied with the ending of the first book and I was scared how it would turn out... But onto the book itself, it was not what I expected. I have very mixed feelings about this sequel, however in the end I decided that I did like it. It was very addictive and well written!  One more thing I would like to add about this book is that I feel that the middle section was the part that I did not like, I loved the beginning and ending, however that middle part was disappointing.
My rating: 4 stars

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
Wow, I flew through this book.
Shadow and Bone is the first in a fantasy trilogy and is an amazing start to a fantastic story. If you have not yet heard of it, definitely check it out and read it! I highly recommend this book as it was a really awesome fantasy.I think I really needed this book, I was about halfway through Game of Thrones (See end of this post!) and it had put me in a huge fantasy mood. Obviously because A Game of Thrones is so huge, I needed something a bit shorter to read. So Shadow and Bone was absolutely perfect.
My rating: 4 stars

Dash and Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan
This. Contemporary. Was. Just. Too. Cute.
So, if you have read or heard of this book you may already know, it is a Christmas book. You may also realise that Christmas is not in  March... But I did read it last month, and am so glad I did might I add.
Dash and Lily is one of the sweetest books I have read and such an interesting concept. If you have not read it yet, I highly recommend that you do. You might want to save it for Christmas time, or you could be like me and read it in March. But you can read it any time and it would still be an awesome read.
My rating: 5 stars
A Game of Thrones by George R.R Martin
Wow. I am so proud of myself for finishing this! If you don't already know, A Game of Thrones is one big book, so I am really happy that I read it and it didn't actually take me too long.
I can't really describe this book to you, and I want to give you a review, but I don't think I could. There is just so much to it and I would find it difficult putting that into words!
If you have not read A Game of Thrones because you have been told it is confusing and too long, do not worry, because I found it absolutely fine and I am sure you will too. A Game of Thrones in my view is an incredible book and I am super excited to start A Clash of Kings. I definitely recommend this and think everyone needs to read it!
My rating: 5 stars

So those are all the books I read in March, I will have an April to be ready up soon so look out for that. I have some great books lined up for this month and literally cannot wait to jump into them. Sorry this post is up so late (about a week I think) thankyou for reading,
